Registering your child for kindergarten
The Vestal Central School District will conduct registration for all children
eligible to enter kindergarten in September 2007. Eligible children are
those who turn five on or before December 1, 2006.
This registration will take place during the week of February 26 - March
2, 2007.
Parents are requested to report to the elementary school serving their geographical area between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on any day during the above-mentioned week.
What to bring to registration
Completed registration form (Print clearly in blue or black ink; leave the "Office Use Only" sections on the top and right side blank.)
Home Language Questionnaire
Internet permission form
Your child's original birth certificate for verification
Your child's immunization record.
Kindergarten RegistrationIf you have any questions, please contact the building principal of the elementary school in your area. We look forward to having your child enter our school system, and we believe that this first educational experience will be a meaningful and worthwhile venture.
If you plan on keeping your child at home for another year
If you plan to keep your child at home for another year, please notify us of your intention. It is important that we account for every child listed on the census data base. Please call the main office of the elementary school in your area with the above information.
