Chinese New Year Celebration
Vestal and Union-Endicott School District students, parents, administrators and staff are invited to the 2016 Chinese New Year celebration event on Thursday, February 4, at the Vestal High School. The joint program hosted by Vestal and Union-Endicott Chinese Language programs runs 5 - 8 p.m. and includes dinner.Students will share their learning experiences and celebrate the Year of the Monkey with Chinese songs, dance, cultural activities and more. Cost is $8 for students and $12 for adults. There is limited seating, so please RSVP by January 31, 2016. For more information, please see the flyer linked below.This event will also include a fundraiser for the Half the Sky Program through the China Care Foundation, which provides medical, social and educational programs devoted to Chinese orphans with special needs.
