Sydney Regan, daughter of Kristine and Jim Regan of Vestal, signed her letter of intent accepting a scholarship to play Division II soccer at Roberts Wesleyan College. The signing ceremony took place at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, in the lobby of the Vestal High School.
A member of the Student Mentoring Program at Vestal High School, Sydney has been on the Girls Varsity Soccer team for four years. She assisted her team in achieving two STAC championships, and they were four-time regional finalists during that time. The team, which was also crowned Section IV champs four years in a row, and last year took home the Section IV Officials’ Sportsmanship Award.
Vestal High School’s 2017 Homecoming Queen, Sydney plans to major in Nursing at Roberts Wesleyan in the Fall.
