Vestal High School soccer teammates Carter Beaulieu and Parker McKnight shared the spotlight for their joint letter of intent signing ceremony on March 1 in the lobby of the school. Both will transform from Golden Bears into Bearcats in the Fall as they accept scholarships from Division I Binghamton University.
Carter is the son of Douglas and Alison Beaulieu of Vestal. A
three-year member of the varsity soccer team, the center back has helped his
team achieve STAC, Sectional, All-Conference, All-State and New York State
championships. He is also a three-year Scholar Athlete.
Crowned an All-American player, Parker McKnight, the son of Lillian and Theodore McKnight of Apalachin, has stacked up many honors during his three-year varsity career. In addition to helping his team score two STAC championships, three Section IV championships and this season’s New York State championship, he has made the First Team All-State and All-Region, in addition to his All-American honors. A three-year Scholar Athlete, Parker has also been on the Honor Roll for his entire high school career.
