Mental Health Awareness Day at GLE was May 25. Students at all grade levels rotated through stations designed to help them identify ways to boost their mental health.
There was a Music and Mood station, Yoga in the gym, and a Nature Walk on the lower field. They created positive affirmations in chalk around the playground, made sensory bottles in the STEAM room, and enjoyed a Scribble Stone activity in the cafeteria.
All the stations were intended to help students fill their
tool belts with tools to help them take care of their mental health throughout their lives.
