The 2022 NYSPHSAA Class B Field Hockey champions welcomed Broome County Executive Jason Garnar on Friday, November 18, 2022. In honor of their New York State championship win (the first in Vestal HS' history), he brought a banner proclaiming the date "Vestal Field Hockey Day in Broome County!"
After congratulating them on their victory and signing the banner to make it official, County Executive Garnar posed with the Golden Bear champions.
