Vestal Central School District’s Music Department is pleased to announce that two Vestal High School students have been selected by the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) for its All-State Conference scheduled for December 1 – 4, 2022, in Rochester, New York.
Performing with the All-State Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, December 4, will be seniors Joshua Jang (cello) and Samson Wong (violin). Both were invited to attend the NYSSMA All-State Festival last year as well. Joshua and Samson are in the Vestal High School Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Amelia Wilson.
The New York State School Music Association’s mission is to advance music education across New York State for its membership and students in member school programs. NYSSMA is a state unit of the National Association for Music Education.
