Shipping Delay forces District to modify Transition Plan

In order to safely transition to 4 Days/Week in-person instruction for Grades K – 5, the District was working diligently to obtain desktop barriers to deploy in the classrooms. The plan to transition to 4 Days/Week of in-person instruction was contingent upon the arrival of these barriers. Orders were placed well in advance with the equipment due earlier this week.

The shipping company assured us that delivery would be this week, no later than March 26, and the District was still planning to deploy the protective barriers over the weekend. On March 26, we were informed that the shipment was still in transit and would not arrive until March 29 or 30.

In order to keep our students and staff safe, our plan to begin 4 Days/Week in-person instruction for K – 5 students has been modified. Rather, we will begin with this transition following Spring Break and look forward to welcoming our K – 5 students back to four days a week on Monday, April 12.

The District apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause your family. We appreciate and thank you for your continued flexibility and support.
