Kintner will head to Seton Hill in the Fall

Congratulations to Vestal High School football running back and outside linebacker Collin Kintner who signed his letter of intent on January 28. Collin will leave the Golden Bear’s den to enter the Griffin’s lair when he accepts a football scholarship to Division II Seton Hill University
in Pennsylvania.
 
Collin is the son of Stace and Adrienne Kintner of Vestal. An All-Conference player and three-year member of the varsity football squad, he helped the team earn a Section IV Class A championship in 2018. Collin was named the Outstanding Defensive Player in 2019’s Sect IV Class A final, and \was the 2019-20 team captain. His First-Team All-Conference selection in 2019 was as an outside linebacker/strong safety. Setting the pace for the Golden Bears Football squad, he led with 575 rushing yards, 42 points and over eight sacks!
 
An honor-roll student at Vestal, Collin was on the varsity wrestling team for four years and was a top Sect IV, Division I place winner in 2018, 2019 and 2020. He also spent two years on the diamond, playing varsity baseball for the Golden Bears. 
 
In the community, Collin attended the Vestal Youth Police Academy and has served as Vice President of St. Michael’s Youth Group. As a member of 100% Raw Powerlifting, he won the 2019 championship in Strict Curl, as well as the 2019 World Championship in Bench/Deadlift. 
 
Once enrolled in the fall, Collin plans to major in Exercise Science at Seton Hill University.
