Triple signing for Lady Golden Bear Soccer Teammates
Kaitlyn Cooke, Olivia McKnight and Victoria McKnight teamed up once more to sign their National Letters of Intent to play Division I soccer on November 14, in the lobby of the Vestal High School.

Kaitlyn Cooke, the daughter of Jewel and Mike Cooke of Vestal, is headed to Division 1 Manhattan College. She is a four-year varsity team member who spent three years as captain of the Vestal Girls Soccer squad. A Scholar Athlete, she is a three-year STAC All-Star, two-year STAC Academic All-Star and was named to the All-State Third Team in 2017. This year’s Vestal High School Home-coming Queen, Kaitlyn is also a member of the National Honor Society, YES Leads, the VHS Student Mentor Program and Varsity Club. In addition, she is a four-year Honor Roll student.

Olivia McKnight, the daughter of Ted and Lilli McKnight of Apalachin, will be joining the Division I Binghamton University Bearcats in the fall. A team captain for two years, she has been on the Girls Varsity Soccer team for four years and was All-Conference in 2015 and 2016. A Scholar Athlete and Honor Roll student for three years, Olivia was named to the All State Second Team in 2017. Off the field she is a member of the VHS Student Mentor Program and Spanish Club.

Victoria McKnight is the daughter of Ted and Lilli McKnight of Apalachin, and she also is headed to B-U with her sister in the fall. A Varsity Girls Soccer member for four years, she was captain for two years and was also named to the All-State Second Team in 2017. Victoria is a four-year Scholar Athlete who has been on the Honor Roll for three years. Her other activities include the VHS Student Mentor Program and Spanish Club.

All three teammates helped propel the Vestal Golden Bear Girls Soccer team to All Conference, STAC* and Section IV Championships in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.They are also part of the first team in 30 years to win the Regional title, one of four teams that headed to the 2018 New York State Girls Soccer Championship Finals this past weekend!
