Vestal Central School District, assuming that there are no emergency closings between now and the end of the school year, has anticipated the last day of school for students in Grades K – 8 and 9 – 12.
In order to meet the minimum number-of-hours requirement and 180 days of instruction mandated by New York State, the District has scheduled the last day of pupil attendance for students in Grades K – 8 for Friday, June 23, 2023. Both Thursday, June 22, and Friday, June 23, will be half days for students in Grades K - 8.
At Vestal High School, the last day of pupil attendance for Grades 9 – 12 is Tuesday, June 13, 2023. Regents exams will be administered June 14 – 16 and June 20 - 23.
Looking ahead, the District anticipates welcoming students on Thursday, September 7, 2023, for the opening of the 2023-24 school year.
