Absentee Ballot and Early Mail Voting options available

ABSENTEE VOTING
Any qualified voter unable to vote in person on the day of the vote due to illness, physical disability, hospitalization, incarceration, or travel outside of the county/city of residence may apply to vote by Absentee Ballot. To apply:

If you are unable to print the application, please contact the District Clerk and request one be mailed to you. Applications must be received by the District Clerk at least seven (7) days before the election (if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter) or the day before the election (if the ballot is to be issued to the voter in person).

No absentee voter's ballot will be canvassed unless it is received in the office 
of the District Clerk no later than 5 p.m. on the date of the election.

(Per Education Law 2018-A(2)(e), any voter registered as ‘permanently disabled’ with the Broome County Board of Elections Office will be mailed an Absentee Ballot without having to apply.)

EARLY MAIL VOTING
Any qualified voter may apply to vote by Early Mail. To apply:
