Vestal Hall of Fame

About the Hall of Fame

Vestal School District began its Hall of Fame in 1995 as a way to recognize outstanding alumni. Since its inception, more than 40 graduates have been inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Nominations are presented to the Hall of Fame committee throughout the year. The committee selects a maximum of three inductees from its pool of applicants. This maximum began in 1998 as a way to preserve the high honor bestowed upon inductees.

Nominees are selected for induction into the Hall of Fame based on their local, regional, national and/or international recognition in one or more areas. These areas may be, for example, professional, educational, athletics, the arts, and/or community/charitable.

The Hall of Fame committee reviews all applications. The decisions of the Hall of Fame committee, in every case, are final. The Hall of Fame committee does not discuss its decisions. Nominees not chosen for induction will be kept on file and reviewed in following years. Nominations can be submitted and/or updated at any time.
