UPK Students "Read for the Record"

Children around the world participated in the 10th anniversary of the global reading campaign, "Read for the Record," including students in Vestal's Universal Pre-Kindergarten program at Cub Care Children's Center and the Jewish Community Center.

On October 22, 2015, everyone read this year's book, "Not Norman; A Goldfish Story," by Kelly Bennett, or had it read to them. Each classroom received their own copy of the book, courtesy of The United Way. 

It is anticipated that over 1.5 million children will hear the story as part of this "world's largest" shared reading experience!
