Vestal Marching Band to host “Golden Circle of Bands” NYS Field Band Show
The Vestal Golden Bears Marching Band will host its home competition, The Golden Circle of Bands, on Saturday, October 14, in Dick Hoover Stadium. Gates open at 5 p.m., and the first band takes the field at 6 p.m. Tickets are $12 at the gate and $10 for students and senior citizens; children under five are free.
Many talented young musicians will gather to compete in this New York State Field Band Conference competition. Vestal’s Marching Band will welcome six high school bands from (in show order) Union-Endicott, Johnson City, Norwich, Corning-Painted Post, Kingston, and Horseheads to the 2023 Golden Circle of Bands competition. We invite you to enjoy the best marching bands that the Southern Tier has to offer!
Vestal Marching Band, with Drum Majors Mia Perfetti and Keira DeVantier, takes the field at approximately 6:39 p.m. This year's show theme is "The Doors We Open." Here is Vestal Marching Band’s remaining schedule for 2023:
