Vestal Hills Fifth-Graders gave up their Fall parties to spend time with residents at Elderwood Village, which is located right next door to the school.
On November 3 and 8, fifth-grade classes took turns spending time with their friends at Elderwood Village. We caught up with Mrs. England's and Ms. Pipher's classes today as they created fall wreaths and then played balloon volleyball!
Ms. Pipher said that the students were fine giving up their parties because they wanted to
share the fun with others and give back to the residents who typically may not get to go out much or may not receive many visitors.
