Golden Bear Cheerleading Team looking for members!

From Vestal Varsity Cheerleading Coach Erin Schultz,

We are looking to grow our program and need your help! Typically we would host a meeting with Vestal Middle School students in Grade 8 during the school year, but that has not been possible this year with COVID restrictions.

If your child will be in grades 8*-12 for the 2021-2022 school year and is interested in cheerleading please click the link below. There you will see the button to take you to our F
all 2021-2022 interest form!..

*Please note, eighth-graders are interested in trying out must have at least a back handspring (running or standing), be asked to get pulled up by the coaches and be able to pass the APP test. However, students in Grades 9 - 12 do not have special requirements to try out. The only reason we have the back handspring requirement for eighth grade is because we would be pulling the athletes up early due to their abilities! Also, we use this form to collect parent contact information, so that we can talk with parents before actually pulling the athletes up.

I know this is early, but we are trying to plan logistics for next season and assessing the interest in our program is very helpful.

Thank you for your support!
