Vestal Golden Bear Boys Lacrosse All-Star Defenseman Mason Mabee signed his letter of intent on Wednesday, June 12, with family and friends cheering him on. He accepted a scholarship to play lacrosse with the Division II Mercyhurst Lakers!Mason, the son of Bryant and Kelly Mabee of Vestal, helped propel the Golden Bears’ lacrosse team to a 2019 NYS Class B Regional Championships, two Section IV Class B championships and a 2019 Class B Semi-Final. He made the Second Team as an All-Star Defenseman for Section IV, Division 2 and is a member of the Gaffer Elite lacrosse team.
Out of school, he participates in the Relay For Life and has been a cadet in Vestal’s Youth Police Academy for three years. When he attends Mercyhurst University in the Fall, Mason plans to major in Cyber Security.
